Iggy Features are computed across all 929 Census Bureau-defined Core-Based Statistical Areas (CBSAs). The CBSAs cover:
- US Population of nearly 302 million people (94% of the population)
- 1.71 million square miles (45% of the area of the USA)
A CBSA consists of one or more counties anchored by an urban cluster of at least 10,000 people, plus adjacent counties that are socioeconomically tied to the urban center by commuting.
Examples of CBSAs include Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue, Atlanta-Sandy Sprints-Roswell, and Washington-Arlington-Alexandria.
